About

Yoga has been one of the quiet ways life has invited me home.

Over the years, my practice has gradually shifted from doing to being, from striving to listening. What began as movement became a path of presence, simplicity, and a deeper relationship with myself.

Today, I simply share the practices that have supported that journey. Together, we slow down, breathe, and reconnect with the quiet place within ourselves that remains unchanged.

For me, it is a way of meeting life—with greater awareness, humility, and presence. Whether through asana, pranayama, meditation, or simply sitting together in silence, the invitation is always the same: to come home to yourself.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to share these practices in studios, retreats, yoga schools, and communities across Spain, New Zealand, Australia, Sri Lanka, Mexico and India.

More recently, I spent nearly a year at the feet of Arunachala in South India, where the practice of self-enquiry became the centre of my days.

My own practice is deeply rooted in the teachings of Ramana Maharshi and the path of self-enquiry. While these teachings shape my life, I welcome people from all backgrounds and beliefs.

A Quiet Note

Happy & Calm took shape during a period of creative solitude at the feet of Arunachala, in the weeks between leaving India and returning home to New Zealand.

During that time, I found myself creating every page, photograph, illustration, and word, slowly and with care. Looking back, the website became as much a part of the journey as the journey became part of the website.
