The Heart
The word Heart has gradually become the simplest and most direct doorway through which I understand Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi’s teaching.
For me, the Heart does not refer to emotion or sentiment. It points to our true nature—the silent, ever-present awareness that remains untouched by the changing experiences of life.
This page is a quiet collection of passages, reflections, and questions that have helped me return there, again and again.
May they serve you as they have served me.
Call it by any name, God, Self, the Heart or the seat of Consciousness, it is all the same. The point to be grasped is this, that Heart means the very core of one’s being, the Centre, without which there is nothing whatever.
